I'm a driven and passionate Cinematographer. My specialty is jib, remote heads, and motion control. The goal always being to create dynamic movement that will move the audience. I started my career doing Production in July '03. Climbing through the ranks of production from the bottom to becoming a Jib Owner/Operator, DP, & Director has given my career a firm foundation in set etiquette, punctuality, composition, and lighting.
That experience helps me deliver precisely what the Client is looking for. Storytelling is not just something, it is everything.
PAUL MANECKY
SPECIALTY CAMERA DESIGNER & OPERATOR
I’m the founder of TopShots, where I design and build custom remote camera systems for broadcast and live production. I’ve been building equipment since I was a teenager and entered the broadcast world 16 years ago, driven by the challenge of moving “nice big cameras” in smarter ways.
In 2009, I created the original Jib-In-The-Air, which has been used worldwide on award shows, concerts, and corporate events, and has served as the main camera on every UFC Pay-Per-View for more than a decade. As a longtime operator, I design with the end user in mind, creating tools like railcams, cable systems, jibs, remote heads, vertical rails, and specialty rigs for clients including UFC, NASCAR, ESPN, ABC, NBC, and FOX. It’s thrilling to see what can be created when your vision for a show meets the right tools for the job.
DAVE CARAFELLI
EXECUTIVE PRODUCER | PRODUCTION MANAGER
Growing up, I was inspired by the Lakers and sports broadcasting, which made me want to work in television. I studied Broadcast Journalism at UNLV, and my first shoot was for Entertainment Tonight while working for Mr. Camera in 1995. This is where I realized I preferred working behind the camera.
Since then, I've had the opportunity to work for the UFC, the NBA, and the NHL, including the Vegas Golden Knights' historic first season and their run to their Stanley Cup Championship in 2023. Now I've added Tape AD for Golden Boy Boxing and DAZN, overseeing all videos and replays that are added to the broadcast. After more than 30 years, I still love what I do. It doesn't even feel like work.

STUDIO MANAGER | AKA "YOUNG BLOOD"
My passion for production began in high school when I first picked up a camera for a live broadcast. That experience sparked a lifelong dedication to the craft. I went on to earn a BFA in Filmmaking, where I discovered a love for production sound and contributed to bringing numerous independent films from script to screen. Since then, I’ve expanded my skills as Studio Manager at the COOP, where I continue to grow as a professional while embracing the opportunity to learn something new every day.
